Fascinated by the amazing diversity of selective breeding found in our canine companions, I created Best in Show to commemorate the 2011 Westminster Dog Show.
I illustrated 28 dogs of different breeds from the seven Westminster judging category—sporting, hound, working, terrier, toy, non-sporting, and herding. The book is designed with an accordion fold so that all dog breeds can be compared side-by-side. Breeds are grouped by judging category and separated by tabbed cards, which describe the breed characteristics.
